I would like a block I can display on the side of my forum that awards a registered user who has visited the site(only once per 24hr)with 1 point within a certain time period(admin sets the dates)
the idea is that the user that visits the most in a certain time period would get a prize(to help encourage more users to visit the site

Interesting idea. If nobody takes a look into this, I may take a look into it after I get back from my surgery. I have surgery in 2 weeks and i will be gone for 8 weeks or so.

I just got permission to be at my computer for a few hours a day, and in that time, I have been streaming. I should be able to start coding I maybe a week+. Will find out more after my next x-rays and Dr visit next week.
Though, there is 1 flaw with this, what happens if there are 8 that have the same points. I do have a lottery module. Take a look at it here.

ignore that I just watched the video
................
this would probably work good enough for what we want, just 1 question is there a way of putting a picture of the prize under description or somewhere on there so they can see what there winning eg... a sword or axe or similar in game item from gw2.

I tried installing the lottery and get an error,
ERROR: Access denied for user ''@'10.0.230.249' (using password: NO)
even though i am logged in as admin
