About:

This script was written out of sheer fustration of trying to buy new cars, but not knowing if I already own them, and its a pain to every time to go through my 31 "garages" holding my 264+ vehicles. I know there is a site that already does this, and possiably an app, (someone said they were working on it), but I didn't want to register to another site and deal with Ads and everything else. I wanted a simple, straight forward system.Once I created this, all I had to do was spend 30 - 60 min once, and now I have a text file I can view on my desktop while playing the game and do a Ctrl + F, or, I can just go to theis site, and upload my file, and do a search and it will tell me where it is and if it's a duplicate. It also lists the garages where you can find them.

This script is free & simple to use by anyone.

How to use:

To use this script is very simple. As soon as you come on, it automatically gets the ball rolling. Here is what each thing does:

• Upload Garage File: This is for those of you that already made a garage file and saved it. You will upload it and if you didn't mess with it and change the formation, (more to come on that), then it will automatically create the list of garages and vehicles within it.
• Search: If you don't know what a search box is, come out from under your rock. 😛
  
  When you do a search, it will show you the vehicle you searched for and if it exists, it will show you in what garage(s).
• New Garage Name: This may change to a drop-down eventually, I just need to compile a list of all the storage places for vehicles, but till then, you have to manually type in the garage location. I may leave it this way, for I know some people have custom names they use for certain locations.
• Max Cars: This is just a number value for how many vehicles can be stored in that particular garage.
• New Car: You will need a garage before you can submit this, but once yo have a garage, you enter the car name, and then with the drop-down, select what garage you want it to be written to.
• Download Garage File: What this does is it saves your work and creates a download file for you, then you now have your garage text file on your PC so you can modify it, or upload it back here later if you want to edit it here or just view it.

That's really it. All garages are toggled closed by default, so you do need to open each time you want to see the list. I did put in a "TOGGLE ALL" button that will open or close all. The "CLEAR FILE" will delete everything in the garage, so if you didn't save before you did that, all information is gone, and you will need to redo that. Do not ask me to recover it because I can't, and remember, after a few days of no activity, you will lose it any ways, so be sure to download your garage every time after you finish editing it.

Garage File Formatting?:

Because this system does not use a database, and everything is handled within a .txt file, I needed to add some formatting to the text file for the system to be able to identify certian things for specific actions. For example, lets say you have one garage that had 2 FMJ's. But then you had a 3rd one in a differnt garage. I need a way to delete the one specific one, or I had to write id's essentually so I can pin point what to do. The structure looks like this:

Using this first line, "Eclipse Tower, 5 -- 10 | 1" Here you can see I have a garage at Eclipse Tower, 5, and then the 10 signifies that it's a 10 car garage, and the 1 after the | is to say that category has the ID of 1.

Vehicles look like "1 - Sentinel XS", where the 1 is its ID and then the name of the vehicle. I will not make a drop-down list for the vehicles for the Arena vehicles, you can give them custom names, and also some people may want to add the Manufactures names as well instead of just the vehicle's name.
**Just note, when you upload a file, it does a check to make sure all the numbers are sequential and will fix it if you have them out of older.**

What's up with the cookies?:

It's simple, this system was designed to be used with cookies. Since I decided to make this script use no databases, I had to find a way for you to be able to walk away and come back at a later date and still have all that information available, as long as you don't clear your browser cookies. If you clear your browser cookies, you will need to reupload your saved files for your folder name is saved in the cookie. I am not responsiable if you cleared your cookies and you lost your folder. If you don't come to the site and do any changes or edits, even saves, your folder will be deleted and your cookie will be deleted after 30 days.
